Concrete Care-Sealers

One great way to protect your concrete after a good cleaning is to apply a suitable concrete sealer. In general, there are many types to choose from, but sometimes too many!

Good news is that there are great selections available depending on your project budget and your expected results.

Think about it for a sec: There is good reason that prices for “concrete sealers” vary so much!  A good rule: you get what you pay for when it comes to performance expectations.

The two most common sealer types for residential applications (& many commercial) are Acrylic & Penetrating (e.g. Silanes/Siloxanes).  They come as solvent- & aqueous/water-based formulations and both types yield great results…..if applied correctly of course!

Here’s two MCCS sealer favorites that are aqueous, or water-based, formulations.

1.) Acrylic: Everclear VOX
